Saint Basil faced a couple of solid teams in the district semi-final and consolation game. 

SBA loses to Council Rock North, 3-1

SBA loses to Hatboro-Horsham 3-2

Up next, first round of the state playoffs vs Hempfield on Tuesday November 9, 2009 @ 7pm, being played at Wilson HS - West Lawn (near Reading).

Good luck to the SBA team as they travel to play Hempfield!

Upper Merion came out with a quick pace, disposing of the first game, 25-13.

After that, it was all Saint Basil winning the next 3 to move on to the district semi-final and qualify for state play!

Saint Basil faced a fired up CB South team on Tuesday.  However, Saint Basil was ready to go and stayed very disciplined in their game.  The won the match 3-0. (25-17, 25-7, 25-21)

Next stop for Saint Basil is Avon Grove on Thursday.

Congratulations to Colleen Fedorowicz for being selected to the All-Tournament team at Cumberland Valley. Only 20 players are selected out of the entire 35 teams present, so we are happy to have a representative make that list.
